Content contributors can easily create and edit XHTML content using Microsoft Word-like toolbars. The editor is the popular open source tool - FCK Editor used by Oracle and many other leading systems. It provides support for standards-based XHTML format tags, text find and replace, HTML clean functions, style sheet definitions, drop in for tables, images, web forms and links, and much more.
Intuitive Interface
WebProActive™ web-based interface is optimized for maximum productivity and accessibility. It is available 24 X 7 X 365 days a year with nothing more than a standard web browser. The interface offers simple Web 2.0 navigation bringing intuitive hyper-text like browsing to an application interface. The Web Page dashboard allows for easily keeping track of pages and modifying content. "In context" editing allows you to browse your site and edit or publish instantly.
Development and Production Environment
WebProActive™ provides a completely seperate development (test) and production environment out of the box. All web pages, templates, content and other digital assets are edited collaboratively in a test environment. When content is ready for prime time, an easy publishing process moves selected items to the production environment (your live website).
Publishing Dependency Verification
Our unique publishing process verifies dependent content before you publish. It will ensure that images, templates, documents, style sheets and other Web Pages are also updated or published so that your published web pages are complete.

Document Management
WebProActive™ provides a central repository to manage documents and digital assets. Wiki Preview Mode

Collaborative Authoring
Content that is out of sync will be marked for others to preview and modify. A locking feature will ensure that content will be protected from overwriting. Complete version history and restore protects you from potential mistakes. User permissions and groups allows for setting various permission levels (add, edit, delete, approve, publish, restore) to each content chunk or web page.

Personalized and Dynamic Content
Dynamic Lists and Navigation
Web pages can display news stories, navigation or other lists that update themselves as their items change. Add a new press release to a section and it will automatically appear. Add a new sub category to a section and it will appear in the navigation.
Dynamic Templates
At the core of WebProActive™ features is it's template architecture. Unlimited templates each with defined content areas (for content chunks) , dynamic areas, or custom coding logic will serve up web pages in an extremely flexible and reusable way.
Dynamic or Static Pages
Frequently referred to as Baking vs. Frying content, in CMS speak, baking a page is essentially caching it to a static state. Frying content is dynamically building a page each time it is requested. Our unique system does both as it should. Some content is better suited for one or the other. And in addition, our templates support cached pages while still allowing areas of the page to be dynamic. This strategy maximizes performance without sacraficing personalized or up-to-the-minute content.

WebProActive™ empowers safe collaboration through an easy model for setting up permissions. For each content object you can define which user or group has access. And each user in that group has defined levels of access (add, edit, delete, approve, publish, restore). The system then ensures that content can only be processed accordingly.

Comprehensive Feature Integration
Blogging
WebProActive™ includes an extremly easy and customizable blogging capability. All you need to do is mark a content area on a particular web page as 'blog enabled' and the rest is taken care of. The ability for users to post and view responses is automatic. And you can specify whether responses should be approved first and who will received email notification of responses.
RSS Content Syndication

Swish-e Full Text Search
WebProActive™ utilizes the open source Swish-e search engine to perform full text search queries, including PDF files and documents. Adding full text search capabilities has never been easier. Other search tool integration is available.
CRM Integration
WebProActive™ comes with a light-weight CRM solution for contact management, action tracking and lead generation / full-fillment. Our unique Webform - to - Database framework allows you to easily create lead generating web forms and map the contacts to your contact database of choice. Great for download registration, contact forms or email list signups and more. We also provide a path for integration with Salesforce.com and other vendors for extended CRM functionality.
Form Creator
A staple of our feature set has always been our easy-to-use and very flexible form creator tool. With a few clicks you can create a new web form with standard form inputs or completely custom inputs. And we support all HTML types of inputs - text, radio buttons, drop downs, password and textareas. A published Web Form will automatically send an email to defined recipients, send an optional auto-response to the submitors, store the submitted data in the database, map a new contact to the contact database and bring the user to either a secure download area or other response page. In addtion, you can add custom form processing logic to provide unlimited functionality such as form branching based on submitted data. It is an extremely powerful set of features that will allow for custom surveys, lead forms, online tests, online registration, lead generation and much more.
Email Marking Integration
WebProActive™ has provided a framework and feature set that allows for a complete web-to-email solution. With our form creator you create a simple opt-in web form and publish it. You also map the new contact to your contact database and specified message list. Then we can automatically sync your data to Echo Mail, Bronto Email or Constant Contact so you email marketing compaigns are seamless. We provide message list storage and opt-out features so that you can keep your customer data in one central place where it can be used to provide personalization or privatization for your users.
Complete E-commerce
The WebProActive™ eCommerce features are another staple that makes us stand out from the pack. With our light-weight e-commerce solution you can be selling products and services within hours. We provide templates for shopping cart, check out and payment processing through PayNet, which accepts all major credit cards. On the back end, we provide easy to administer inventory, pricing and descriptions. Each of your products or services get's a unique identifier. Then it's as easy as dropping the item onto any of your web pages. Once an e-commerce item is on a page and published, it will automatically utilize the built in shopping cart and check-out process.
Website Analytics
WebProActive™ is integrated with AWstats open source analytics and reporting tools. AWstats is a feature rich analytics and reporting tool. We also provide integration with JavaScript based tracking (WebSideStory, Google Analytics or the like) or complete access to the raw log files should you wish to use a different solution.
Web Project Management
For even more collaboration support we have added a light-weight project management tool so you can keep track of changes on your website. And you can integrate it with you website to allow your users to submit requests. The project management tools include unlimited projects and tasks with time tracking, status, description, solution and more.
